Start slow? work your way up to a full stream? maybe it's already full and the gauge is broken?

LOL Maybe I used a scope to see if something was in there but no luck! I think it has something to do with the evap system. There must be a line thats pluged or kinked. After I check the lines, I will replace the filler tube. Kinda sucks, The car is empty and I wanna cruize! Go Figure...

Had this prob with an old truck....theres a small line that runs down the side of the main filler tube...its a vent line...it may be either clogged or kinked...

You should be able to fill it if you pull the nozzle out almost to the end and sightly squeeze the trigger....same as when you round off that last dollar when your tank is full....

Thats the problem... There is no vent line running up along the filler tube. Also even if I put 1 cent in at a time, it just fills the neck and it wont go into the tank. it takes $3 tops. Donno.

???

wow
I think wet96cav may be right.

It is the exact problem you have when someone stuffs a condom down your tank.

looks like you have to take off the filler pipe either way.

Keep us posted.

Sounds like someone's stuffed a tampon or something in your filler.

Get under the car and take off the rubber hose that attaches the filler neck (metal) to the tank (plastic). It's got a hose clamp on it, then take a look.

The funny thing about it is.. I put an air line in (at the top) and sealed around it with a rag, Air went into the tank no problem and came back out (at the top). but gas wont go in.
My question is... If the tank is empty...there is air or (vapour) in the tank, right? If i put gas in it, and fill the filler tube, where does the air (vapour) escape? I am thinking one of the vent lines are cloged. But then again, we took the main vent lines off and they are all clear! Ok..so maybe its one of the solenoids?

Maybe it's the pump you're using that's defective. Try filling up a 5 gallon gascan and see what happens.

God bless America.
