Map sensor spec for 2.4L

I'm trying to diagnose my map, but I have no actual spec to compare at idle, load...etc
Does anyone have the voltage numbers or know where I could find this other than convincing the dealer to hand it out

The sensor is 0 to 5 volts. It is also 0 to 1 BAR. Linear scale.

Ok but see the thing is I'm havening a problem with my car, I'm really sure it's vacuum related...I can't find any leaks, so now i want to diag the map to either faulty or good
By saying 0-5 volts..you mean like a o2 sensor, or is at idle a certain voltage between 0-5v ...ex: 2v at idle??

No, doesn't sound like you know how a map sensor works.

Lets say, a 1 bar map sensor, 1 bar is 5v, 0 bar is 0 volts, if the car pulls 9.8psi at idle (20in/hg), then your map sensor voltage would be 1/3 of the available volts, so 5-(5/3) is 1.666 volts.

But it's hard to diagnose the map with a digital volt meter. You need an O-scope. Or oscilloscope. Or an analog volt meter to show the wave of volts as you increase the load.

True, but i have my fluke at work that has a scope...shouldn't be a problem
