For those of you lucky enough to be in snowy regions, what kind of reduction are yous eeing in your winter gas mileage?

I haven't noticed any loss. I get crappy mileage as it is because I drive like the car like it's armageddon (not that it's ok) but I get 15-20 MPG year round. I live in Iowa, so winters are kind of nuts. One day it's 60F, the next day it's 30F and there's 6 inches of snow. Two days later it's in the 50s. This all happened about a month ago. Now it's in the 30's again.

I'm not in snowy regions, but in TN, I've seen a reduction of 80 miles to a tank maybe. i used to get around 480 to a tank, now I'm at 400-.
Yea that not fair you live in tn up in wisconsin i got 29 and nearly sh*t my pants I think it was around 380 that i got out of that tank, but ive been real kind to the trottle
mine mileage blows in the winter lol

you do realize that 100km/tank is only 60miles/tank thats 4.19mpg, unless your post was a typo thats really bad!!!!!!!!! I get around 20mpg which is about 360km/tank in the winter with my 2.4L auto.

how do you have 400 miles to a tank? damn i wish i had that. could be difference in engines and trannys. i get between 350 to 280. depends if i warm my car up a lot or just enuff.

You got me dude, I don't know I get 400 miles to a tank.. I do have an intake and cat back exhaust, but i seriously doubt that gave me that much of a gain. Also, it's mostly highway driving i do.
Before my Cavy blew the head-gasket ( 1997 2.4L Z24) I was getting about 400+ miles per tank. Winter or Summer, It didn't matter.
Now I'm driving a 1994 Bonneville V6 until I get my cavy back on the road and I get maybe 300-350 miles with a full tank and the wind on my back
I can't wait to get my Z back on the road.
i have gotten right at 370 miles on one tank this winter but that was aboot 60% highway driving, usually i get aboot 280-300 before i fill up at around 1/4 tank or less to go with around 85% "stop and stop and stop and finally go, wish i had a @!#$ machine gun" city driving
oh yeah STOLEN said he
dropped 100kms/tank, not only getting that much

prob why right there. I think i got around 370ish on my way to KY for thanksgiving. but that was goin 70ish half way until my ticket. then it was 55 the rest of the way. i do mostly city drivin so im screwed. like 5 miles from work but takes 20 minutes.

i get like 150 to the tank now... its gay i dont even drive hard.
highway in the summer maybe 600 kms. city and medium speeds and 20 km each way about 400 plus in the winter kms but summer maybe 500 kms also depend which gas station i go to cause some i find shut off to early and then the needle comes down real quick. plus winter i warm it up and and you have the heat on and gas is denser i think blah blah blah. but the station i go to know is goos i can get like 75 kms before the needle actually moves then i can get like 500 kms per tank.

I'm in PA. Right now I'm getting between 27mpg-30mpg depends on if I add in fuel injector cleaner or not. Funny I get better gas MPG with the additive in the tank than with out it.
FYI: it's an 04 eco
you want it WHEN??
