Heater switch help

I searched the forum, but couldnt find anything...

My two blower settings on my 98 base havent worked for about a year now, no big deal,
but now the two high ones craped out and I have nothing. I cant blow cold, hot or vent,
nothin. It has been completely out for a couple months now. When it started craping out
I could hear the fan motor turning slower and slower and finaly stop with in a minute
interval. It would occasionaly come on when it wanted to but this was rare. Sometimes smacking the dash would fixit but it would stop soon after. Now the
thing has been out cold for a couple months. I finally decided I sould fix it because I'm
frezzing my ass off and the windsheild is fogging like a mo fo.

I speculate it is the switch yet the blower motor may be blown too.
any ideas on what is broken and what needs to be replaced is welcome!
thanks,
sean

Not to flame you or anything, but have you read the last three stickies? They talk about the problems you are stating. Try reading those and following what they say. There is a wealth of info there. If they don't help you out, than come back and let us know what you tried and we can help you out from there.
