My boyfriend and I changed over my steelies to his old rims. He never had this problem on his car, but for some reason I have it on mine. Whenever I hit around 61-63 mph, the car shudders really bad. It's only around those speeds. Any idea as to what it is?
Thanks for the sig, Blakout.
Are the tires directionals ? And are they on the correct direction ?
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
When we put the rims on, we put each one on my car in the same place as they were on his.
Thanks for the sig, Blakout.
The tires are probably out of balance. I know mine would shake really bad at any speed above 70, could be the same cause.
are they aftermarket rims? if so its probably because you need hub centric rings. either that or the tires need to be balanced
get the tires balanced bc i dont even rattle unless i'm doing like 85+ thats on stock 15 steelies and POS tires

balanced for sure and possibly an alignment
Thanks guys. I'm going to be ordering some metal rings and hopefully will get a chance to get in for a balance/alignment in the next week.
Thanks for the sig, Blakout.
if they are after market rims you need 57.1mm hub centric rings for it
could be a broken band in one of the tires, that happened on my lumina, when id hit about the same speed everyday it would shake, till i got that tire fixed
