Damn I waited way to long to book, no room at the holiday inn. Well theres always the super 8.

Just got off the phone with holiday inn....

I blocked 30 rooms, we have 15 of them reserved. Outside of the block I'e made, the hotel IS FULL.

At the Super 8...somehow they don't see my block (weird) , however, there are 14 rooms left still. I've blocked off all 14 rooms. You have until June 26th to make the reservation, after that date, its open season for everyone, included the 1000's of people thats gonna be in town for the vintage bike races at Mid Ohio(HUGE weekend, it'll fill VERY fast)

Get your rooms now while you can!!!!!!

So do I just call and tell them I'm with the bash?

just call and say that there's a block set up and you'd like to get one of those rooms....and you're from the tuner bash. if you STILL can't get anywhere, ask for Terri Lay (M-F 9-5) she's my contact and she'll get you squared away.

Two Queen beds, $119 a night, non-smoking...for the 27th and 28th.
They said, I took the last non-smoking room, and they have 2 rooms of the block left. It kinda sounded like they had no idea what was going on. I told them GM Tuner BASH 6 times, before he looked it up. Keep telling me all rooms are full because of vintage bike night.

By the way paul, alot of us who have booked suites are not showing up as being with the bash...i only know this because i spent an hour on the phone bitching at someone who claimed I didnt have a reserved room(in a booked up hotel) untill she said oh wait, you have a suite, i dont think we booked them with the rest of the group...


I hope everyone got there room at the Holdiay inn because theres a list a mile long...When i told her i wanted to cancel my room for thursday she asked me if I was sure because once I let it go for sure, there was a waiting list it would be going to...i kept it...

yeah im sick and tired of people not noticing that we have a block...I'm DEFINITELY reconsidering having them for a host hotel next year haha. TOTAL LACK OF ORGANIZATION!!!!!

Ill be calling about 2 weeks before the bash to MAKE SURE I have a room still.. Im blowin that bitch up if they try to act like Im not on the list lolol.

Just so you all know, and I donno how this worked out:

I was told the block is full... but they got me a room "out of the block"... Queen size no smoking, and gave me the block rate. (This is at the Holiday Inn)

I Reserved for Friday the 27th and Sat the 28th.

So.... anybody hanging back on making a reservation MAKE ONE NOW.
