Looking to upgrade my sunfire it has the 2.2ohv whats the beat upgrades to do to it and it has the 5 speed its a 99 pontiac sunfire se 2 dr 5 speed

If you want more hp I would do a cold air intake and header with 2.5 or 2.25 exhaust. Wrap headers or get ceramic headers to help scavaging effect on header and down pipe. If want better ride lowering kit with koni shock set up and bigger sway bars. After all that would look into turbo that's when the real fun starts. Don't let any one down talk your 2.2 there strong motors. My bro had a 2.2 s10 ran through some low water and sucked it into his low hanging come filter hydrolocked his motor. Pulled plugs got water out started up and is still running.
