engine family number

So i have to replace my catalytic converter and according to the guy at the muffler shop their are two engine family numbers for the 2.2L, here are the foolowing numbers:
(2GMXV02.2024)
&
(2GMXV02.4022)
Does anyone know the engine family number for a 2.2L (LN2) engine?

2GMXV02.2024 is the Cat for a 00-02 LN2 2.2L.

2GMXV02.4022 is the cat for a 00-02 LN2 2.2L in CALIFORNIA.
