This has only made me dislike this car even more. I have taken care of the interior and dash for years, always putting shine protectant to prevent UV rays. Always putting sunshades, but since I live in Florida
My dash still cracked, and pretty badly, goes to show the low quality of the interior.
Now, yesterday, out of curiosity, all I did, was to barely touch the dash with my finger, I didn't use any force whatsoever, I just touched it, and that cracked part fell off to the inside of the car, now I cannot even get to it, so now I'm stuck with a freaking hole in the dash
ridiculous
The solution, you have to buy a cover, to hide the cracks, how much does it cost?
$130
are you kidding me? $130
No way, I'm spending 130, on some part, just to cover GM cheapness

Go to walmart and buy some Kleenex OR puffs this should help you.
And that's why I love my '95 cavi. No cracked dash issues! And also why I love my sunfire!
You have got to be the biggest crybaby bi
tch I have ever seen around here. LMAO
I think that covering your dash is an insult to your car. It's like spitting on your cars face and pride.
2002 Pontiac Sunfire SE Sedan 2.2l Ecotec 4 Speed Auto.
soooo, just go buy a $10 dash mat at the auto parts store instead of bitching like a little girl. jesus christ,

Quick you are 100% correct. also by the look of it this guy is a lying bitch too. that dash has been cracked for way longer than this year.
lol
i said the dash piece broke just recently that fcking hole u see
the dash has been cracked for years
I will second the 95 dash suggestion! My 99 dash looks pristine thanks to my 95 dash score from a junkyard. It is not that hard to remove and swap an entire dash just take it slow and snap some pics as you go. It will cost less than that $130 cap. Chances are too that the lower portions that you cannot see are also cracked as well.
They are still out there and are well worth the effort!
I like using 303 product on all my vehicles's dash. It's a protectant that's not greasy or shiny. Best of all, it provides UV protection.
Shine protector eh? Sounds like silicon, do you know what that does to plastic?
Frig go to pick n pull and get one for 25.99.
The pick n pull's in calgary have 4 1995's and about 80 others from 91-05
