not sure if this is where i post this but...i have a 02 cavi 2.2l auto tranny...ill start driving when i hit about 20 the speedo will cut out the car kinda skips and bucks and when i hit 40 the speedo comes back...any idea would be very helpful thanks
It might be the speedo sensor. Mine was loose once, but I think it wouldn't let me go over 20. It is on the backside of the transmission

i unplug the battery for about 20 mins hooked it back up and drove it it didnt buck or skip the the speedo was still acting funny
this belongs in the maintenance forum.
either the speedo/cluster is bad, the signal wire is bad, or the VSS is bad..
