Well i found a 02 Ls sport 5-speed its yellow the one i been looking for the price is $3grad but i can get it from him for $2,600 but it has 156,000 miles but theres 80% high way is it still worth it? also theres almost no rust

$3,000 seems a bit high to me, although KBB rated the car at roughly 2500 - 3000 depending on condition. If the history is clean, and the maintenance has been kept up with, than the motor can last a long time.
I'd say go for it, personally.

I bought a 2003 base Cavalier sedan last october and got it for $2,500, I think at the time it had 107,000 miles. the last owner seemed to have fix everything but the struts so i replaced those and mine has a bad oil leak from the rear main seal that is currently getting repaired.
