Those that you are seeing probably had the spoiler removed.

me and Gary (Garys Blue 05) found one that came stock without the spoiler back a few years ago. he needed a third brake light at the time so we got it for him. it actually looked good in there. dunno if he still has it though. . . .

If you tint over it, you won't even know it's there until it lights up (unless you have REALLY dark tint)

FYI 1995 & 1996 Sunfire Coupes were the only ones that had the option of no spoiler. Also, a Cavalier Coupe rear deck with a third brake light will fit just fine in a Sunfire Coupe (FYI since it is damn near impossible to find a factory spoiler-less Sunfire Coupe).

^^ Yeah, but yours came with a spoiler from factory lol. I see a lot of the factory spoilerless Sunfires around the Carolinas.
yeah but i didnt "fix" my trunk. I pulled a spoilerless trunk from the junk yard. The yard i went to had probably 15-20 spoilerless sunfire coupes that day.
Theres like 4 or 5 in my little ass town. Ones the same color as mine. I think I might gank it.
