ok, here i go.
so im jumping around, back and forth on what car i should purchase, to replace my cavalier.
first i was looking at s4's, but there a little ridiculously priced (i know that) but i do not like spending 18k on a 11 year old car with 130k on it, that had the piss beat out of it.
next, was a 2001 s2000, again at 80k on the clock there going for 7-9k which isnt bad, and i actually like the way i felt behind the wheel of the 4 i drove..lol
then i was thinking about a cobalt, ss/sc, a platform im familiar with and being in a GM family i would'nt get frowned upon.
and lastly another j-body, if i was to go this route again, i'd just go the m62 route and be done with it, im not trying to go fast anymore, i just want a nice summer whip i can take pride in again.
it's a tough decision and i needed some insight from the community.
thanks

I'd say Cobalt, or an 03-05 J. usually you can pick those up pretty cheap with relatively low miles
i must commend you on you're dedication.
most that have something happen to their j-body just get out.
i say get something you're talents can really shine on. you have done the j-body thing, i believe it is time to show the world what you can do with something different.

I bought a 02 audi a6 for 6000 has about 90k on it and had all of the matienence done before i bought it and i love it AWD ,twin turbo, and leather look around and im sure you can find a good deal on a s4 but the only thing that sucks is when it breaks either you have to learn how to work on these foreign things or take it in which costs a arm and a leg but id probly go for another gm platform (cobalt) thats my opinion

Get the S2000 for sure, they are a ton of fun.
Stay away from GM.

Wanna help with what? I knew you'd like it. I'm looking for one myself. I already have the local Subaru dealership going through their networks to find me what I want. They're not that common around where I live. I've only seen 3 in person. Hope you find what you want for a good price.

M45 + LD9 + 4T40-E, GO GO GO
Is it possible to import them? I mean with customs being so tight and all
I'd say the Subaru then S2K.
I say buy a donkey and put a turbo on it. I think you can figure out the intake and exhaust on it
forestor xt or xti is where its at. everything from the sti is interchangable, and the forestor has the 2.5 out of an sti with just a smaller turbo and less boost.
but im having no luck finding them
