While looking for a part on the Auto Zone website I came across something interesting. After asking for year, make, and model it asked for engine. It had two options:
Available engines
4 Cylinders 6 2.2L Flex Fuel (found in 1% of 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier)
4 Cylinders F 2.2L SFI DOHC (found in 99% of 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier)
Anybody ever heard of a Flex Fuel Cavalier?
They're probably referring to the bi-fuel (CNG or regular gasoline) fleet cars. Not "Flex Fuel" like the newer GM vehicles that can run ethanol.
Whenever i get parts i get asked that. Its nothing new.
