I'm about to get my license back and I still don't have a car to drive. I found a Z24 for sale on craigslist, it's red... The body is in good condition in the pictures, it has 123,000 miles. Looks like it's in good condition... Here's the link,

What do you suggest... Go look at it, test drive and tell him I like it but I think the price is a little high? KBB value in good condition is $2,535 , so I couldn't use that.
id say 2000..... then work from there
What would be some good reasoning if he won't budge at $2000, I don't want to let this car go because I've been looking for a Z24 with a decent amount of miles for a price I can pay. There doesn't seem to be any Z24s for sale without major mods. If anybody knows where I could get a lower mileage Z24 stock, or pretty stock for a good price let me know. Thanks

It's got ricer taillights and an intake, so it must have been beat on... raced, etc... use that to talk them down. If it was a bone stock babied car, only driven to and from church on Sundays, by Grandma who keeps all her Jiffy Lube receipts in a file folder... then it would be worth some more.
I got my car for 2250,its an 04 base coupe
the guy had it for sale for $2500 it had 94k miles

bump up to an 02 or newer, something with an eco..you'll probably enjoy that lots more, and they're readily available, esp here in OH
I need something that will be cheap on insurance for me, I got my Dad's new cavalier quoted for insurance (04' Cavalier LS) and I think it was $364 a month for full coverage. He also wants $5000 for it because it has like 46000 miles.
I got my '01 Z24 for $1500 and it had a new Tuxedo Black paintjob, Type J kit, 17" wheels, Tokico suspension, Injen intake and a full Magnaflow exhaust
its all about lookin hard and being patient.. I wouldnt pay anything over $2000 for a '99 or older unless it was prestine with low mileage

damn thats how much i pay for fpr 8months
decent car, but chrome tails doesnt mean it was street raced or any of that crap, i got my 98 for 1300 so thats a bit steep 1800 sounds more fair to me for that car. also i pay $111 a month for full on my 05 and basic on my 98 together in az. so whoever is paying over $300 all i have to say is your seriously getting ripped.
5000 bucks for an 04 with that low of mileage is the correct price btw.
but wait guys....it has a HANDCRAFTED intake. That's got to be worth something, right?

Mine will be for sale probably for $3,000 in about 3 months. 01 Z Supercharged, 72,000 miles, 1 owner (me) and Katzin two-tone leather included. Never even a fender bender.

lol he couldnt spell debris either lol. if i were you i'd go check it out, test drive it, basiclly let him know your interested and if no one else is lookin at it talk him down to at least 2000
