Got a question. i need to make a spare key for my Z. now i have that key with the small head that fits into the ignition. Do i need to go to GM to get a spare made or are those small heads available anywhere ( if so where?)
huh? it's not a chipped key if that's what you're asking. . . you can get a key made anywhere that makes keys.

think he means the rubber end of it cause most newer GMs have bigger key heads like the equinox, alero and so on usally the bigger key heads are dash mounted ignitions, also if you notice the ignition theres no plastic sticking out to turn the lock cylinder thats why the cavalier has a small head because it has the plastic finger nubs
if thats what your talkin about hten go anywhere its not a GM specific thing its an OLD school GM key
