I have never owned a Sunfire before. But I was given a GT. The car is in great shape, has a rebuilt transmission and new clutch installed. Only one problem. When the shop did the clutch and transmission, something triggered the anti-theft system. The car will not run. Is there anything I can do to reset the system? Or is a dealership my only option. I would like to spend the least amount of money on the car. It will be for sale and pictures will be listed in the classifieds after this problem is fixed. Any information would be appreciated.

Try the Passlock re-learn as listed in the FAQ for starters...
I think the car is a 1999. I will find out more this Friday thats when I'm bringing it home. Will post more after that.
