I'm looking to place a Order

But need to know what kind of place it is and how they treat you

I don't want to wait 4 weeks and have a UPS fee of $50 from the Boarder LOL

Where would be a good site to check up on online stores to see how they do business

I've never done any business there but what i can tell you is that the duties/taxes at the border has little to do with the company shipping. Its based on the value of the items shipped. Now the company can claim the items are worth less than their actual value but then the package can only be insured for that amount. So if you want to risk being screwed over if the package is lost or damaged then altering the numbers is fine. One thing i have noticed after having a lot of items shipped up from the US, is that if you use the postal service the fees are WAY less. In some cases packages of similar size, weight and value have had half the fees if shipped USPS instead of UPS. So n my opinion if you can have things shipped USPS instead of UPS then do it.

so did you have them send it back to the usa, to avoid paying duty. if so, thats a smart idea, didn't know we could do that.

your best bet it to have it shipped usps and marked as a gift.
