Why are some posts locked?

This should be in the newbie forum...
Posts that violate either or both the forum rules (
http://www.j-body.org/forums/rules.php ) or the GM Enthusiast TOS (
http://www.gmenthusiast.com/terms/ ) will be locked at a moderator's discretion. The poster may also receive a forum warning or be banned depending on the thread. If the thread is so bad, it will either be moved to Anything Goes, a premium member only forum, or to the Moderator forum.
The other reason why thread's commonly get locked is if they are reposts of other threads.

true... but once the question is answered, it should be locked... its not like there can be a discussion on the subject... the answer is cut and dry...

the bigger tease is that was an AG link... so not all can go see it

i may not hve posted in the thread, but i remember it when it was current... which is why i searched for it when John mentioned wanting to see the forum.
they need an ultra premium membership.....pay $5 extra to go to the mod forum.....Id pay it....
