which line had more changes the cavalier or sunfire? from 1995 to 2005 only.
i noticed that the cavalier interior major upgrade was when gm desided to move the radio above the ac/heater controls.
the sunfire got a totaly new dash designe, (which i would like to swap to LOL) but then the sunfire lost the sedan version.
03+ sunfire sedans are still available in Canada.
plus a sunfire sedan isnt much to wave a stick at so not much of a loss in the us
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
i was speaking as far as Us market.
i would imagine that they were pretty even, although since the sunfire had a few more options than the cav, chances are that they changed a little more than the cavs did

Off the top of my head, Sunfires had more things changed compared to the Cav.
im starting to belive more and more . that the sunfire was the better of the two models .. as far as options .. and changes and materials .
To me, Pontiac was always the 'up model' of Chevrolet.
Compare the Firebird to the Camaro... the Grand Am to the Malibu (we'll leave the Olds Alero out of the argument for now)... yadda yadda yadda.... the Pontiacs always cost more than the Chevys, better materials available, options, etc.
As for changes... the big changes would be equal across the two platforms... as in engines, suspension, exterior changes, etc.. The only big difference, I guess, would be the headlights. Cavalier got three versions (95-99, 00-02 and 03-05) while the Sunfire only had two (95-02 and 03-05).
yes i agree. im starting to like the sunfire for those reasons .. i just dont like the rear 1/4 windows. but i do belive there better quality. more upscale then the cavs .

It was. Chevrolet was originally the poor mans car at GM. The hierarchy went Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick, and Cadillac.
The Fire's look changed more in 03..

they sort of are, or at least were marketed that way. the sunfire was the "sportier" of the two and had more options, albeit not many.
