hi all, i know its been a long time since ive been on jbody but i got an email from brians mom today when i got home. kinda freaky i should get this email the night before my bday but i wanted to post it up. if any moderators want to move it feel free but i thought it fit here great

I had received an email from the American Gold Star Mothers over the summer telling me that Rick Springfield was making a Christmas Album this year and the title song "Christmas With You" was going to be dedicated to all of our fallen from Iraq and Afghanistan and Rick was also going to make a video of this song. The email came from a woman named Alana at Rick's management company and American Gold Star Mothers just forwarded it on to us. They were requesting pictures and stories of our loved ones.

Me, being the skeptic that I am, got in touch with Alana at Kos-Doyle Management to make sure that this was a legitimate request. Once she assured me that it was, I sent pictures and a little story about them to her to pass on to Rick Springfield.

A short time ago, I received another email from Alana telling us that the video was done and gave us a link to watch it. This email said that, with all of the pictures they received, not everyone's made it to the video. There were only so many that they could fit into a 3 minute song video. I will say that my expectations were; what would be the chance of Brian making it from all the hundreds of pictures they must have gotten? So, I went to the link, started to watch the video and at 1:52-1:53 of the video, there he was!! He made it to the video

You know, one of my biggest goals is that Brian never be forgotten and with this video, he will live on forever......we will be able to pass it on to generations to come

If you would like to view the video and listen to the absolutely beautiful song you can go to www.rickspringfield.com, click on SKIP TO RICKSPRINGFIELD.COM, then click on the picture of the woman playing the violin and Rick playing the guitar, then click on the Click to Play button, and there it will be. Make sure the sound is turned up........the song really is awesome.

Well, just wanted to share this with you. I hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving.

Lynn

I'm really glad people do songs like this. Very touching, and I'm glad his picture made it into the video.
