I've been a couple places in the last couple weekends and plan on going to MI on the 20th for the JBOM meet. Just to give some backround of where this is coming from.
I must say that every single one of you guys that I've met on my journeys have been awesome and it' been great to meet all of you. Brad (Zyaaaa) and Paul (N/A Madness) are great guys. Brad basically begged me to come out to Iowa last weekend and I'm glad I did, I made a few good friends on that trip. I had a blast. Then the following weekend those two came to IL to go to the WI meet w/ me and Vince. Again the same kind of people. Everyone has been awesome and very welcoming. I have never had the feeling of "Why are you here, you're from IL" once. I've not really been around too many other JBOers for a long time. I forgot how much fun it is. Thanks guys for some great times, and there will be plenty more to come.

im glad i got to meet a bunch of new faces as well and got to put org names with faces.
I wish i worked normal hours, so i could go out and do these things with everyone.
Unfortunately I need to work at the time thats best for everyone else. lol

Yeah everytime I meet JBO people I'm surprised. I can't think of a single person off JBO that I met in person and didn't like. Overall this is good group of people (when noone is flexing there e-muscles).
I'm been up to Minnesota a few years back and had a blast with those guys, Wolfman, Drunken Z, Weebel, Cannon, Lowfire, Tanya, Roy, etc. etc. I've hung out with the Wisconsin J's a few times and its always a good time, the Team Green peeps, the WI J-Tuners people as well. I went to my first bash in 05 and though it was fun I only met a handful of new people seeing as I only had a J for liek a year... but I met Karo, John Piparo, Lenko, NJHK, and quite a few others. I met the Fetter's for the first time at H.I.N. chicago as well as many .org members finding me at HIN cause they recognized my silver cav. DTP occasionally drives out and crashes on my couch LOL sometimes he brings friends, like OG Nick. At this past bash a few monthes ago I met ALOT of people for the first time, way to many to list them all but there wasn't a single person I really didn't like. And then last night I met a couple Iowa guys, Z Yaaaa and N/A Madness, both were cool guys. Obviously I know the chicago people and I've met most of the Rockford J's before they preaty much departed.
If I didn't mention you don't be offended theres way to many people, good people, that I've met through this site to list them all.
When everyone hates on us (j-bodies) it gives us all something in common to kind of band together about. (Granted I myself am a known avid J-body hater LOL)
The next long distance trips I'm gonna out of my way to make next year is.... JBOM BBQ, next years bash, and the Midwest GM Tuner bash in the dells.
yeah same here. everyone ive met in person (ok...there is an exception or two) but they have been cool. the @!#$s tend to stay online and dont go to meets and such

Yea, it was alright hanging out with some FIBs......
but really, had a good time. Was the first WI meet I've been at this year, and only the 3rd J-body meet counting the bash and TVR shoot-out.

Maybee it's because most the people that make the time to go to meets happen to be into it enough to be cool.
I always enjoy meeting people from the JBO. Ive been to many bashes over the years, and been hanging out with J-bom alot lately. I dont think there really has been anyone that I have disliked. Most of my best friends now are J owners. Its crazy to think what my life would be like had I not bought this car.
And that sucks that you are coming to michigan on the 20th. I will not be there. I will be hanging out with my new JBO friends in columbus!
