Turbo exhaust manifolds 2.0 vs 1.8

I've re-posted this question to the General Forum to see if anyone has answers, regardless if you read the First Gen Forum or not.. please LMK.

Can someone who knows tell me if I can use a 2.0 turbo exhaust manifold on my 1.8 turbo head. My original tubular manifold has been re-welded numerous times due to cracks and metal crystallization and is no longer usable due to misaligned ports and bolt holes. The 2.0 manifolds are readily available but not the 1.8. From pictures they look interchangeable even though the 2.0 appears to be a cast manifold. Please post if you know or have gaskets from a 2.0 turbo you could scan and email me (PM) - guesses are not what I am after at this point, I have my own guess that they'll interchange based on pictures.

Can someone confirm that I can use the 2.0 manifold on my 1.8 head? Are there any differences in the turbo mounting portion or port runner sizes or in the bolt hole spacing of either manifold? My local parts houses don't even carry gaskets in stock for these engines so I can't compare on my own. Thanks for your help.
