I have a 1999 z24 cavalier with 172,000 miles on it and is on sale. This dude has 1,700 to get my car and I was wondering if it's worth it. Currently I'm a college student and broke. The car runs fine with a bad wheel bearing and head gaskets that needs to be replaced. I do have new tires on it and konis so who knows.
should I sell it? I'm selling it for $2,000. Thanks . Erik
sell it.
Head gaskets on the 2.4s SUCK
Damn I'm thinking twice about this.... Is this it? any more input? thanks.

Sell it before it becomes a paper weight, a 2.4 with that many miles and a HG on the way out will become a bomb.
Good luck

If it was mine, I would take the offer. I just bought a mint condition 98 Z24 with a knock in the engine for $300, My car is loaded with all options, sunroof, a few mods and a bunch of stereo. The motor I bought was less than a grand so I will have about $1500 in a super clean, nice little car with an engine that has a 24 month 25,000 mile warranty...I shoulda mentioned, Im doing all the labor so everything above is only parts and stuff, it would cost alot more to have someone else do it.
ill give 15.00 for it , you gotta deliver it
if your asking $2000 and he offered you $1700, and your both well aware of the problems it has then what are you wating for.

on a side note, where did you get your engine from?
uhhh..... If you don't sell it your nuts.... I wouldn't buy the car for 500 bucks.
You're ripping him off lol. The worst part about it is that car cost $18,000 new 8 years ago. I know because I had the same car, and bought it new. Domestic depreciation sucks!
