With border fees, ordering from US Composites is not worth it. Is the a similar company in Canada?

ppl here get things shipped to somewhere clsoe to the border and drive to pick it up. appeartly u save border fees etc, i think its in ND but im not sure... ill have a look on the local forums and see if i can find it.. this is for wpg peeps tho..

and as a side note i order from the states all the time, border fees for me for the @!#$ i get are pretty cheap since i work for a shipping company.

border fees are cheap, just dont use UPS because they rape you, if you use the postal service, or DHL you only pay taxes on the item.

Sometimes you don't have a choice in the matter... if the company only ships via UPS... you're kinda stuck.

I use a company in Blaine, WA called Security Mail Services... I ship the stuff to their address but in my name. They hold it there, until I go down and pick it up. I'm about an hour's drive from the US border... might be worth it to look into something like that near you, if the drive South is close enough.

if u can make a friend where u are shipping from have them wrap the package in plain brown paper and marked as a used part with a cheap value.u do take a chance that someone will know its a 1000 part and not a broken $5 mirror but not very likely
