I think it would be a really cool idea to get together the fastest Jbodies from the org, and set up some kind of J-body showdown pre bash and get some racing together this season
Or, start up some kind of mini series of just J-body cars that can run some kind of elimination series before the big bash of the year.
Since GME is throwing around the idea of making several smaller shows over the course of the year starting in '07, perhaps this idea can get tossed into the mix and flirted with.
I know I would
love to mix it up with some of the other fastest jbodies on the org and witness some incredibly fast J-bodies really represent.
Everyone here has pretty much been doing it on their own, I think it would be really cool to ge a bunch of fast Js in one spot for a powwow minus any silly car show normally associated with a GME event.
Just straight up racing event.

Group A n/a ecotec
Group B power adder ecotec
Group C n/a 2.4
Group D power adder 2.4
Group E n/a OHV
Group F power adder OHV
etc etc
or to make it more interesting, just have a 4 cylinder all motor class and a power adder class, and a 6 cylinder all motor class and power adder class.

Maybe several events at different tracks like Thompson Raceway in Ohio, Atco raceway/ Englishtown raceway in NJ, tracks in NY, PA, MD, or further south

We did this once. 2005 GMSCB had a Quick 8 event.

has GME announced anything as far as what the deal is for this year?
And I thought the bash was coming back as the main event of the season with other smaller events leading up to and after it?
