I use Geico...i used State farm at first and they screwed me, and then switched to Allstate who i used until last October. They then tried to screw me and now Geico has the best rates for me.

I'm with geico. The rates down every 6-months of clean drivin' (re-instatement discount). So if you can stay out of trouble, I think it's good deal.

Unitrin Direct

Lowest rates I've seen, and not too bad with service, so far anyway. I'm about to make my first claim and I'll see how it goes.

I actually just got an AWESOME quote from Amica Mutual (rated #1 by JD Power and Assoc)... and the customer service is SUPER awesome so far. I think I was talking to that lady for like... over an hour just BSing lol. Awesome quote, awesome coverage, etc... just gotta wait for the writers to approve.

21st Century gave me some good rates, nice people, good coverage... (also rated highly)

I have Nationwide now... I'm paying twice as much for 30% of the coverage Amica and 21st is offering.

I'm with erie. For 3 vehicles 2 atv's and a trailer for the atv's and all w/ full coverage. The total premium is $2605. Which is w/ my wife and myself. And having a 10% inexperienced driver rate tacked on. But the vehicles are a 99 2 dr. blazer. the 99 z, and a 05 grand am. And a sport quad and utitlity quad.

I'm paying like 290 a month for 9 months. Then I don't pay anything for 3 months

I've been with Allstate since I bought the Sunfire in 2000. I shopped around every year for a few years, but stopped when nobody could come close.

Re: Insurance

well i was with erie but they wouldnt cover me on my own policy
i ended up going with progressive, i didnt want to after the schitte they pulled but i had no other choice
anyway heres my story
i did my online quote and got a price of $236.88/mo and that was with the violations that the DMV gave me and my comp claims
so i call progressive from the dealer, and we get to the point where he has to run my DMV record, then he tells me that there are 3 violations that i didnt list on the online quote and that it would now be $350+/mo. So i flipped out on him and slammed down then phone for a second, pick it back up and demand to know where he got his info from. He told me that he got it from PennDOT. I told him thats where i got it, I paid $5 the previous day to get my driving record. So I told him ok fine, i'm going to fax you a copy of the report i got from PennDOT. At this point he starts apologizing and told me that it would only be $233/mo. I cant believe that they would try to pull this ish. If I hadnt already paid for the info myself i woulda been charged an extra $120/mo b.c the damn insurance company cant get their info straight or that they just figure they can screw unsuspecting people out of their money

Re: Insurance

^^ mdk interesting.

I got two reports of my history, and actually they read a little different.
Each had a violation or two the other didn't have.

But....
Points wise, they each said what was and what didn't actually carry points behind it.

Still,
If I up the coverage I'll be at about $225.
Thank goodness for the location though.

Progressive.
