I have been looking for a while now for a certain model cavalier. I want a 4 door 2000+ z24 with sunroof.

What I have found in my area is a few 2002 - 4 door z24's with no sunroof - some with a lipkit on the bumper some not.

Did they ever make the Sedan Z24 any other year then 2002? And do any of them come with factory sunroofs?


If anyone has any info on this I'd appreciate it. That way I stop looking for something that does not exsist.

Only made in 02 and the sunroof was an option not picked by alot of people. it was a sound and sun package.

I have never seen a factory sunroof in a 4 door cavalier. I do not think they exist. I believe only 2 door were ever available with sunroofs.

I heard no sunroof on a 4 door because of the integrity of the roof, from teh factory. Aftermarket is a different story...

There has never been a factory sunroof on a 3rd gen sedan. Ever.

As for the Z24 sedans... in the US they were only made in 02. When they switched to the Ecotec, they went with the LS Sport name.

In Canada, we got them right up to the end, I believe, though I'm not positive. As long as you had the LS Sport sedan, we had the Z24 sedan.

I tried to order mine with moonroof, but it WAS NOT AN OPTION from GM.
