She emailed me regarding the LED bulbs i have for sale in the classifieds and this is what she wrote me telling me to give her photos and more info. so i did and she emailed me back asking for

CELL NUMBER
so that she can send a cashiers check. is this legit??? i will copy and paste what she really wrote when i get off of work today. i dont have copy paste here. thanks guys

If she's offering to send more money and have you send her what's left over or some such thing then it's certainly a scam. Where is she?

If you think for even a split second you have to ask if it's a scam, IT IS.

If it involves a cashier's check, it's probably a scam. In the end, the cashier's check will be drawn for the wrong amount due to a "clerical error" and she'll want the change back from you, etc.

Then you'll get funds from a hijacked Paypal account or one funded with a stolen credit card. That's when Paypal comes back and takes the money from YOU. So then you're out the cash AND the parts.
