i was just wondering if anyone on this site ownes one of the cavalier that runs of gas and propane. also did any sunfires come with that?
ive seen 2
and they were both green sedans with a tan interior
one was driving by me one day
and another is in the junkyard 10 minutes from where i live
i forgot to add that the trunk is entirely taken up by the additional fuel tank
It's CNG... compressed natural gas.... not propane
It's easy to spot them, they've got a tab on the filler panel under the driver's side taillight.... which flips open to access the fill port.
was this something made by GM or another company did it and how many where made. i see more and more of them on the road all the time now.
I believe it was model year 2000 and maybe 2001.
Sedans only.
Converted at the factory... main use was for fleet vehicles.
i have seen some 95-99 ones with it to. i have seen one with the trunk open the tank is huge and does take up the whole trunk.
