Well, I posted a question long ago if he was trust worthy and the only response was good... but todya after waiting far too long I sent the following email to him:

Subject: Where's my trunk lid?
Date: Sat, 15 Jul 2006 22:22:47 -0700

Either give me a tracking number with the lid enroute or give my money
back within 5 business days or I contact the authorities and press
charges.

Pretty simple huh?

Perhaps someone here local to him can give him a smack upside the head and tell him to smarten the @!#$ up before I have to contact the authorities (I sent a money order, so unless I'm mistaken, we got a case of mail fraud here)

1) How long is too long? When did you order this? How many correspondances have you had and do you have a record of them?

2) When did you ask about this? Link to your post?

3) Don't get people to do things for you and instigate a physical confrontation. Take care of your business like an adult, you are coming off as being aggressive right now. Calm down, and rationalize how you want to take care of this legally.

I know Chris, I don't think he would screw anyone over, PM me all the details about the transaction Ill get in contact with him and figure out what is going on. Have you tried contacting him any other way than email?

Agreed. If you only had 1 or 2 e-mails back and forth, you are way jumping the gun.

Now if you have sent numerous e-mails with no response, your actions are justified. Without knowing the full backstory, it is difficult to come to a rational conclusion.

I sent the money order beginning of april, and had been getting a run around from him up until June, which was the last time I heard from him.

BlackEco, hit me up on AIM and we'll chat.

I find it somewhat interesting that Chris is doing an Eco-swap after joining the army and in training if he is so busy.

Here is my response to a second email...

What is the tracking number so I can have my UPS account representative
look into the matter.

Thanks,
Owen

Ummmm...

1. That is Chris's writing its unmistakable
2. Hes not in the Army nor joining the Army
3. I hung out with him last weekend and sold him some parts I gathered from a junkyard for his car.
4. I know he has had 2 carbon fiber trunks in the past 6 months, and I know he just sold one to CrazyNatiCavy like a week ago (Im not saying its yours)
5. I can't believe Chris is this F#UCking stupid to try and pull this @!#$ and then concoct this whole lie and try to sell it to everyone on the .org
6. If you doubt whether or not hes around, Im sure PhlatCav can verify he is def. not in training camp.
7. I considered Chris my friend, but its pretty obvious something very F#cked up is going on here, so if he values my friendship, he will come on her and apologize for what he has done wrong and tell the truth, then rectify the situation with you. I still haven't heard his side of the story but Im going to find out.

So who wants to go collect my money and/or trunklid... perhaps bring a baseball bat to assist in the cause?

I'm away on business next week, if this hasnt been resolved in a satisfactory manner by the time I return, I will contact the US postal service inspection agency and press charges.

There is something to be said for making a post like this to inform other members of a possible problem dealing with someone. That helps others, that are smart enough to research before buying, not fall victim to the same problems in the future. There comes a point, however, where a line gets crossed and you need to take things up privately with the person or with the authorities.

Joking or not, this is now that point. This is the second time in this thread you mentioned "taking action" against the guy and that is not allowed here.
