no its a first gen i found out and it preceded the z24. so deffinately not dealer rice. i will hopefully have another pic shortly my phone is not letting me send anymore pix for some reason

Type-10 was the forerunner to what was called RS after 1985. You can notice a direct relationship in appearance as the '84-85 Type-10 and '86-90 RS both had regular-style grilles in black where the lower-level models had either silver or body-colour grilles depending on the year. It was also a predecessor of the Z24.

They are rare to see still on the road. I think this post prioves that to a point. not many people would know a Type-10 was not a dealer rice option. Not many people know a cavalier came in a hatch. nice find. I would love to have one.

My brother had a Type 10 sedan before he had his pre-1988 Z-24.

I can't remember what was special about them though.

Hatch 10s were a bit rare. Finding one in roadworthy condition is pretty rare these days.

I seen a Z24 Hatch a while back on ebay with 20K on it it sold for 1500 bux looked like it was still new even had origanal tires
