I'm looking to buy a car.
My last car was a cavi wagon (don't laugh!) but some jerk totaled it and then took off! Luckily insurance is coming through.
I really want another cavi. Just a normal one! Nothing like any of cars I have seen on here. I've found a 96 for 1500 and was wondering if that was a good deal??? I no absolutly nothing about this car yet except for the price and that it is said to be in good condition.
Also I was wondering about problems I might run into with a cavi??? The one I had did pretty good up until the end and then it was basically only my car for a couple months.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For that price, I'd consider how many miles are on it as well as question the maintenance history.
Yup, also consider the fact that 1996 is almost 10 years ago. If I were you I'd pay no more than $800 for it. That is, if the price is negotiable. If the price is firm and you know you want that car, go for it.
Definitely get it checked out by a mechanic first.

Keep your out out for a newer one closer to a 2000 or 2001...they are extremely cheap and you can use that money as a down payment.

Yeah I just got an 02 base model coupe for $4000 so if possible go a little newer than 96.

mines a 96 Z24 and i paid 2900 for it 2 years ago and my car runs like a champ
god damn why did i pay 3400 for my 96..lol and it was 5500 to begin with.. haha luckily i gave him 3400 cash and he took it i still feel like i got ripped off tho
