A lot of Republicans hated her. Let's face it, she presented herself to the public as a pig-ignorant redneck with catchy sayings AND she had no experience. Sure, she was a spitfire and she worked hard, but nobody wants Erin Brockovich as Vice President.
they took a Governor with limited knowledge of Washington policy and expected her to hold her own when discussing said policy. Not really a realistic expectation IMO. I expect over the next few years for her to hone her knowledge and fully expect her to reassert herself in Washington with far more success next time. It's not that she's stupid, it's just that she's uneducated on the issues that she needed to compete with people who had been involved with them for years.
Our government should work as a team and the smartest person on a team isn't always the most valuable.
She did seem to be the brains behind the Hope Diamond theft, though.

I would agree this is a big part of it. Either way I don't blame her. The deck was stacked against McCain in many ways and at times he was his own worst enemy.

That is quite out of date(probably what I put there when I first joined JBO over 5 years ago) and dare I say a bit sarcastic. I don't even have that car anymore - but I am still a fan of function over form in terms of automobiles. I did plenty of work to it, turbocharged it, etc - yet never bothered fixing the body damage. All the better than no one knew what they where next too. Of course my current car is alot faster still, but I do miss the economy and the shock value of people first looking at my car and making judgments accordingly, then seeing what it could actually do
