Hello, i am looking into either trying to retrofit projectors into my 02 cav or get 99 headlights instead. One thing i am confused about tho is can i just replace my 02 bumper for a 99 bumper and be able to use the 99 headlights? Or would i need to do more. I read the entire post on front end swaps but got a little confused... also tried searching but was so many post i couldn't find the answer i need. So sorry if it is a repeat question... i did try searching first tho...

As a person who has done both of the things you mentioned I'll chip in.

I purchased 99 projectors and installed them on my 01 car. I used a 99 style bumper and I cut the 01 headlight mount thingy to accommodate the one piece projectors. You also have to make your own harness ends by changing some of the wires around.

I reverted back to the 00-02 style front because the one piece projector style had terrible light output (at least in my opinion) so I decided to create my own projector retrofit lights.
