I searched around and there wasn't any recent discussion about roof rack so I decided I'd ask. I recently got a Thule Box, a pair of rails and 4 towers from a co-worker for $50. The only problem is that the little mounting brackets are too big for the doors to close cleanly on my 2004 Cavalier. Any suggestions? I don't really want to go out and buy 4 new towers. Is there was a way to adapt towers to fit around the relatively small clearance I have inside my doors?

do you have the 4-door brackets or the 2-door? If you're done/still unhappy with the brackets and bars I'd be happy to take them off your hands.
