I have a 1984 buick skyhawk and am heavily interested in converting my 2 door coupe into either a t top or convertible. I wanted to get opinions on what would look better and which would be the easier conversion. I am very well aware that the skyhawk did not come in either of these options and will have to find suitable donors at the junkyard to cut up.

I wouldn't do either. Now the Pontiac Sunbird convertibles would make an for an easy Skyhawk conversion as they had very similar front and rear fascia's. If you do decide to cut up the Skyhawk you will have to reinforce the structure of the car.
