Im building a set of 00-02 headlights i wanna put some projectors in them.
i kno a few of you guys have done it my question is where did you get your projectors hopefully some found them in a junkyard what kind of cars have stock projectors i might be able to snag on my next run this weekend.
Junkyards are great places to find oem projectors. Infiniti fx35 projectors are favored for their small size, output, and nice cut off, they fit great in 00-02 housings. Acura TL projectors are also great for retrofits, and you can get some bmw or audi's to fit, I think e46 and e55 will fit lengthwise as long as you don't use a large shroud on the lens...but your best bet is those from a fx35.
I also find a lot of deals on ebay. Check out hella projectors too, they actually manuufacter a lot of oem projectors.
You can also check out theprojectorsource.com, they sell a nice drop in all in one hid/projector unit for a reasonable price.

Keep an eye out for Lexus as well...I'm thinking its the rx350 (whatever their SUV is), I think I remember someone saying that those are a close fit, as well some projectors from the GS series.
I'm sure there are a ton of other OEMs that will fit as well...most are going to be 2.5" lenses, though some may be 3", both will work for you..,you main concern is going to be the length of the projector housing (which is the problem I ran into with the first set of Audi projectors I tried to retro into 03+ cavalier lamps)..you want something short enough that you can keep it from touching the inside of the headlamp lens, while still giving enough room for the bulb end and harness to still fit in the dust cap. I would suggest if you already have the head lamps you'll be working with, open them up and take a few measurements before heading to the junkyard.
Thanks man there already apart i painted them black on the inside and bought some leds to mount on the projectors like eyebrows soo ill take measurements i work at a shop im trying to make a mental list of car and suvs thanks for the feedback your cars clean to man
