Would it be a good idea to sand my headlights with 2000 grit sandpaper (wetsanding) and then polish them to help remove some oxidation?
even if you do that they will still oxidate again. even faster at that. i would clear them afterwords.
i would polish them after too. but would that Car truck & SUV clear work well on the headlights?
wow, youtube is plastered with those videos. But i agree on the clearing them after, i have to keep hitting mine with cleaner wax to clear them up, but theyre both broke now so it really doesnt matter. lol I don't see why it wouldnt, just prep the area real good, wet sand with 1500 to 2000 grit, clean them with alcohol or wax and grease remover, then you can paint per directions on the can. (someone correct me if im wrong, im no pro.)
