custom hotrod hood scoop

ok this is my idea i have a flat black 99 2200 sfi sunfire and i was wondering what it would look like if i got one of those scoops that go on supercharged hotrods and made a air intake that would conect to it so when the hood is down it would look like it has a blower and it would get cold air from the outside

would this work or is it stupid i know the power difrence will not be dramatic but i think this would be better than a big wing

ok, i'm going out on a limb and saying you have a stock sunfire with a 2200, and you want to put a huge drag inspired hood scoop on it?

start reading up around here, there may be time to save you yet.

hood scoops and hoods like that are used on hot rods because they need them more or less. just putting one on to act like that is just plain wrong.

I love that is intake sits over the hot exhaust then get heated up even more by the M45.
