hey guys im 17 and work at mcdonalds so i just wanna share my ride with u guys and maybe
get some tips on how to improve it.
First time i ever saw the car
Then removed hubcaps and stuff
most up to date pic of my car
U removed the hubcaps and put different ones on ... so technically u replaced 'em
lol Nice ride, has potential.
Depends on what direction you want to go in.
Make it go fast or make it look sexy. What engine does it have the 2.2 or the 2.4.Auto or manual.etc...
Rememeber kids... spell check is your friend
Fix that rust ASAP... Or it'll bite you in the ass later.

Man, why are J's so prone to rust in the bottom door jams?
I know i have been fighting with that @!#$ for some time now.
well thanks for commenting i have shaved emblems off and i was looking to tint my windows and maybe get her painted. I think the colour it is now is cool but what colour u guys think it would be nice in.
If u could do some photoshoping for me that would be great
nice start... looks alot like my first car...
what is it exactly?... imma guess and say a 96 2.2L auto...
and id start with fixing the rust... then tint and paint is always a good direction to go... maybe a bit of a drop and some wheels...
but it all depends on what you want it to look like when its all said and done...
This is just me but I wouldnt waste money modding a car if its already got considerable amounts of rust, I just snicker inside when I see modded cars all rusted.
But a drop is #1, then some nice 17s or 18s
Another noticable thing to do is paint the mirrors, and not the sail panel that connects it to the car, just the actual mirror housings
i wouldnt bother debadging a car that old. probably not going to be pretty underneith.
and i'm with flip... probably not in good enough shape to be worth your while in terms of major mods. save up some money and get something that will require less repair work.
lol, this brings back memorys...
Same colour as my car was.. 4 doors, and changing the hub caps was the first thing i did... and go figure, same ones to boot..
Oh and if you wanna start modding, Lower.. and rims..
But i suggest getting a REAL job.. not mcdonalds.. i don't mean to sound rude, but i know first hand what they pay... and working there isnt gonna guy it for your car mod needs.
alright guys i would love to have a better job than $8.00 an hour lol!! anyways ive been working on the car and have got some update pics!!
My car as of now its a little sunny when i took pic tho
Took the @!#$ty old side moldings off!!
clear hvac knobs
My new sub 1200w
debaged!
New Short Ram Intake
New Exhaust!
Well its a start to the summer and looking foward to my clear corner lenses and other stuff
s you got a cheap ass sub and fart can and didnt touch the rust.. Not smart
im gonna get it fixed up in a month or so when summer arrives. hey u got tips on sanding that rust down
I would suggest going around to every rusty area you can find and cleaning it up. Sand fill & prime where needed before you even think about painting. Unless you have a good bit saved up to let the shop do it that is
To me, I'd stick with the color you have, that way everything matches. So you don't end up with...say, a black Cav with tan areas peeking between pannels. Personal preference too for me is a Throttlebody WAI, one that goes on direct, and not reusing any of the factory air intake. But they do tend to cost a little more than the other ones.
pull that muffler out a little bit more to line-up with the rear bumper and work on that rust seriously. but all and all ur on the right track, dont let everyone bother you with their negative comments on your ride......i mean it is your car you decide on what it is gonna look like just figured i would chime in!!!
hondas are like tampons.....every pu$$y needs one...
mildly built 99' ln2, eagle h-beam rods, wiseco forged alum. pistons, cusco oil catch, t3/t4 super 60 garret, tial 40 mm wastegate, hp tuners, prothane mount inserts, 2.5" exhaust.
sorry guys it a 99 4dr cavalier 4 speed auto and its got about 180 000 Kms

Sand fill & prime where needed
Im no body expert, but unless you can get every piece of rust off... you do not want to do that...
if it has rust rot, beyond surface rust its going to need to be pretty much cut off and have new metal welded on there and thennnnn get on to painting it..
it looks like ur off to a good start, fix the rust sum tint a drop and u'd be set... keep up the good work man i kno at 17 i couldnt save money for @!#$ just make sure not to put all ur money into the car...

a good start. i agree lose the rust or it will just spread. do whatever you want to the car, some people can be rough but, it's their opinion. after all i have all the mods that alot of people put on the most hated mods list lol. oh well. wheels and a drop would be a good start, or you will have the 4x4 stance like i do. but thats coming before the bash. good luck.
just quit modding it asap..
just drive it!
dude if you get the rust fixed
you will have a decent start
