I know they aren't anything special, but I think they look really nice.

What kind of bulbs are they?
Sylvania(sp?) Silver Star
they were on sale at Autozone and I snagged a pack.
Maybe I'm just impressed with them.

Looks good, Sylvanias are awesome. I just don't want to drop that much cash on bulbs.
I have the Luminics "JDM" yellow ones, I really like them too.

did the same when they were first released they are great, we did it in my buds car as well big diff over stock. yet i must confess even tho they are bright annoy other drivers and provide great visibility, i broke down a got HIDS last week and no comps to that but if u cant do hids then ultra whites from sy;lvania are the next best thing. i enjoyed having them until last week.

Yup.... Silverstars are nice. One of the best upgrades you can do to your lighting system. I have a pair collecting dust that I used to use, but that all changed when...

Nah, dont say that. Silverstars are still good to have. Get your moneys worth out of them first and upgrade later.

i got a pair for 50 bucks
I made the change to silverstars awhile back and they are way better then stockers
anything is better than stock I think.

Yes, you can get 12k. They are purple and highly illegal in most areas.
ive got the Silverstars also, love them, i find there brighter/ and whiter the colder it is out..
I had the silverstar bulbs for my fogs, but the right side constantly burnt out, so i bought some ultra whites from jason at aplus , but then they melted my housings for some reason...

ive heard mixed things about HID's
id like to get some but with projectors
im aiming for 5-6k ones if i do

Yes, silverstars are a way better upgrade from stock

Yes, the higher the K the more intense the color your bulbs will emitt, but the useful light decreases as you go up in K as well. 4300k-6k are the brightest of all, but the light is almost purely white. Most people want some color in their HIDs so they end up getting 8k-10k. HIDS also get more intense for some reason when its cold out as well.
Hids decrease the stress on your eyes compared to halogens. It is just that if your go beyond 10k, you'll hardly see any light ahead of you and that will hamper your night vision pretty good. Plus, they light is purple. Your just asking for a ticket running around with that.
I ordered mine from a seller on eBay a while back. I never has a problem.
The Install was easy. The hardest part was to find a place to mount the ballasts. I mounted mine using trhe strong double-sided tape inside the bumper along the side. Everything else is color coded so even the most unexperienced person could do it under an hour.
The other night my buddy and me compared our hids and hes like mine is brighter and then i turned mine on way brighter he had 8-10k and i have 4300k and yes they are pure white his have a blue tint.
