i remember someone posting a while back about wanting to fiberglass their wheel wells. i searched almost an hour and cant find anything.
anyone else remember the post im referring to? id like to find out if they ever went thru with it. im considering a few different things for my wells
i dont think vince did his inner wheel wells. if he did, then i must have missed that page of info.
any chance you can point me to some pics?
ill try and find the page, i vaugely recall the inner wheelwells being tubbed, and then glassed
i was a little off, its only the wheel well lip vince glassed, but i found it. page 49, about half way.
"
I started to fiberglass the wheel well lip so tomorrow I can begin cutting it up and glassing it into place."
Well if it was me id get some foam blocks shove them in there and make sure they wont move....and then carve them to shape and glass over it...just an idea but its the only way i can think of making a mold on something like that..phil
i have a much easier way in mind....just gotta go thu and file down/smooth out a few sections
should have it all ready for importfest
well, so far this year i have a total of 16 miles, lol. last year i put about 1100 on. hopefully next season she will be a trailer queen. then i can really get crazy
Built Not Bought
i did full inner wheel wells front and back and i enclosed the back/ undeside of the side skirts and front and rear bumper on my car and i drove all the way from ny near buffalo to lower ohio neatr WV and not a siongle problem, if anyone wants i can put up[ some pics when i get home and do a breif how to and a list of materials, cause right now im still in ohio. btw, it was a 400mi trip one way and not a single dent or hole in the work i did. later

i think i put that much mileage on in a month. i know thats what i put on. i oil change about once a month.
when we lived in cincy me and my wife both logged in about 24k a year each. 4 years driving the fire got close to 90k miles on it now that were in indy and the sunfire is our third car it only goes to shows or cruiseins or a few trips to work here and there, and my gran am gets 6k miles a year driving everyday to work, kicks ass when you live close to where you work, u save so much money and so much abuse on the cars.
