so I read about this and I am confused about what I need for the wiring. Does it just disconect somewhere and then I can just connect it to my 98 or do I just cut the wires and splice them into my 98? If I have to splice how much of the wiring do I need from the 2000?

if u splice u need as much as u can get.. or atleast 2" extra than u cut ur wiring.. that way u have enough in case u mess up u might be able to cut and resplice with the amount of wiring left over.. If u think ur gonna mess up alot get as much as u can get tho.
