I want to put the 2003+ LS Sport bumpers on my 2000 cav, but id like to keep my existing head lights. I'm just trying to get an idea of how this would look. I think all of the lines would still flow properly and wouldnt look out of place, but i'd like some other thoughts on it or even the problems id encounter. Thanks...

They wont fit, the Hoodline on the 03+ is different, plus there are other things that stop it, just dont remember what they are off the top of my head

The 2000 headlights have corners that wont fit on an 03+ bumper, and the lights themselves are the wrong shape for the bumper. with an 03" bumper you need 03+ headlights, unless you can customize it to make 2000 headlights fit.. good luck

Let's use Red Dragon's sig picture as the example. Definate problems will be:

1. That triangle piece on the end of the bumper between the 03+ headlight and the fender.
2. The center grill between the headlights would need to be cut off because your hood would hit it.
3. The area under the 00-02 headlights may need to be cut off to accomodate the vertically larger 00-02 headlights.

Other problems could include whether or not the bumper would leave a gap (in the depth, not height) under the hood, and of course, working with ABS plastic, which is never an easy task.

It might look good, but it would take an extreme amount of effort and ability to make it look right, a level (or expense) that you probably won't be willing to go to.
