I have a 97 2.4 and am putting a OEM carbon fiber hood on. I just put on my carbon fiber hood and it doesn't close all the way. I beleive the reason for this is my AEM Short ram intake is in the way. More specifically I think it is the black rubber thing on top of the tb that is causing it not to close all the way. How do I fix this problem? Maybe some of you guys that have done the install before ould help me out.
thanks a bunch

Trust me do yourself a favor, put pins in that thing. I bought a cheap one on ebay and the thing had a 15" crack right through the right side of it in about 2 weeks, then I had to go and by another quality hood. Im not saying that yours will crack because everyones is different, I am just saying its probably a good idea to put pins in it to protect your investment.
