what do you see when you look straight down thru those two big vents in the center? any pics. i want to get this hood but kids in my town are shady and i dont want them seeing whats under there and rip the hood off ( theyve broken hoods before to get underneeth ) and take everything under there. any pics from straight down?

There is actually a removable area below that will allow you to remove the black center piece to extract the heat better. So yes you don't have to worry about anybody seeing what's in your engine compartment.

Here is a Linky on whom I purchase my Hood from Linky to Ebay Please ignore the inaccurate year models on some items, I have already Emailed Chris that there is no 2006 models only 03-04-05.

I ordered my VIS hood from Carbon Innovation through Ebay, and had it in less than a week. Their definitely a good company to deal with if you want your stuff fast.

The secret is that there really is an 03+ Sunfire C/F Evo hood by VIS. I called VIS themselves and said they do make it but they really don't have any pictures of it on an 03+ Sunfire.

You're right and I know also ... I spoke with someone from VIS also, Infact they also don't have any 03+ Pictures for Cavalier's or Sunfire's in general. But i'm sure they will eventually.

I ordered my body kit from them. It was supposed to be Drift but the sent Blitz. They wouldn't take it back to send me the correct kit. Also the side skirts were f'ed up. The driver side was warped and the passanger side was to short. The Ebay add GAURNTEED FITMENT. I called and spoke to somebody and they said they only gaurntee fitment after a body shop fits is. Not one body shop wants to even touch it. They have all told me they can't extend the side that is to short. I called back to JTR and they said too bad so sad. What a rip off. Don't recommend them at all.

see your problem is that you ordered it from EBAY, that doesnt mean it was actually from ViS, a lot of companies on ebay say its from one company and only to find out that you've been had and it was from cheap company!

for all those that care to know, you know its a real vis hood if there is the metal tag on the inside of the hood, its mounted so every time you open the hood its like BLING! but when you look through the vent, atleast on my 01 cavi, you can see the emblem on the aem short ram perfectly. which was totally on accident... lol but thats about it. and my little cover did not fit on the hood with the intake, it was rubbing, but thats just my 2 cents
