I de-badged my car because I was bored this morning, and now, well where the badges were are the outlines of "cavalier" and the dealership i got it from, any tips?!

Thanks~!

as in glue marks or just like a faded look to it? if its glue marks take some goo gone which is that orange concentrate stuff, NOT goof off that will take paint off. but if its just like a faded out line of the badges then buff it out. I had the same thing when i debadged my car. all i did was bugg it out and dont even see it anymore.

to take off a badge or door molding ..use fishing wire and move it between the corner and move it in a back and forth movement (saw) use a little water a blow dryier might help softin it up if you have a extra cord to plug into as for the gummy two way tape that sticks on the paint again blow dryier and use your fingers to roll it off ..still sticking try a very little amount of paint (THINNERS) not stripper lol on a rag it will not take off any paint unless its not baked on (like spray can) remember to have one rag with it on and a dry rag to rub it off with and that should work fine the rest would be just buffing and waxing (bodyshop 101) hope it helped..
