'99 Sunfire GT side skirts question
Monday, September 19, 2005 11:45 PM
Was there a difference between the coupes and the convertibles? I searched for pictures and even went through some members profiles and it looks like they used different side skirts. I would like to know because I'e been thinking of removing my side moldings and it's a '99 vert but almost everyone that removes them have coupes. Maybe I can avoid having to fill the holes on my doors if there are any. If you have good pics of the GT skirts that would be great.

i don't think any of the convertables used the GT side skirts (although i could be wrong). that being the case, you won't have any holes to fill in. if for some reason your side skirts look like the GT that i posted, then you will have to fill in holes but the SE skirts and side moldings don't have holes to fill in.

Yeah, my skirts look like the SE skirts. I wasn't sure about them. Might be removing some moldings soon....

I think you should put on the GT (coupe) skirts. I never understood why they got the GT front and rear bumpers but not the right skirts.....Besides I love the stock GT skirts.
