I have a 1998 cavalier base model. I have been wanting 2 kit it 4 a few months now, but I have seen a few J's goin around with just the Z kit and the lip kit on em and it looks awesome. anyway, what I was wondering was, if I got the Z front, rear, and sides, would it look good? or should I go ahead and get an aftermarket kit? also, would I need 2 make up a switch 4 the fog lamps on the Z kit?

i have the "Z" kit, it was stock on mine and it looks cool i thnk. they look even better when they are lowered. i also know brandon boltz did it to his and it looks sweet. its just what u like and what you want. look around and see what you like best. the Z kit has a place for got lights, i think you would just have to mount them....no switch if yours already has one.

yes i put a z kit on mine (i'm brandon boltz). i didn't get the fog lights with my front bumper though so i can't help you with that. plus i still haven't got off my lazy ass and put the side skirts on. i did it because i just don't have the money to fork out right now to buy a kit and get it installed and painted. i was able to piece my z kit together with pieces that were already black.

i think the z kit looks better than 99 percent of aftermarket body kits. body kits tend to be too BOOM!! the factory z kit is simple, looks nice, cheaper, and you don't scrape as bad as with some aftermarket kits. the only aftermarket kit i'd get is the rksport lip kit. i think it looks better than the z kit only because it seems sleaker...
